About This Safari
Udgiri Plateau, also known as Udgiri Pathar, is a natural marvel located in Chandoli National Park, perched at an elevation of 1,000 meters. It bursts into a vibrant display of wildflowers during the monsoon, earning the title “Mini Kaas Pathar.”
Elements of outstanding universal value are found on this plateau, making it rich in biodiversity. Many species still new to botanical science and several endemic, endangered plants are found here.
The plateau seems to change colour every 15–20 days as the cycle of flowering plants progresses with the monsoon from June to October. Best time to visit: late July to early October.
