About This Safari
Explore the natural beauty of Chandoli National Park through an exciting jungle safari route connecting Udgiri Plateau, Udgiri Check Post, Udgiri Dens forest, Waterhole and Golivane Watchtower.
The region is characterised by dense evergreen and semi-evergreen forests, where the thick canopy allows very little sunlight to reach the forest floor, creating a cool, shaded and mysterious jungle atmosphere. It encompasses parts of both the Core and Buffer Zones of the reserve.
The forest is particularly rewarding for nature lovers, birdwatchers, herpetologists, wildlife photographers and biodiversity enthusiasts. Jungle safari experiences are available here throughout the year.
The Udgiri forest landscape is associated with three well-known tigers of the region — Chanda, Subhedar and Senapati. Tiger sightings in the wild are never guaranteed.
