Kandvan Boat Safari
About This Safari
The Kandavan Dam Boat Safari offers a unique opportunity to explore the surrounding forest from a boat. The dense forests of Chandoli extend along both sides of Kandavan Dam, creating a magnificent natural landscape.
Recorded sightings in this area include tigers, leopards, wild dogs (dholes), sloth bears, gaurs, sambar deer, Indian giant squirrels (Shekru), various species of hornbills and sea eagles, along with many other wild animals and birds.
A boat safari typically takes approximately three hours. Advance booking is recommended. Early morning and late afternoon trips may offer better opportunities for wildlife sightings.
